To improve professional skills, strengthen equipment maintenance capabilities, and boost the quality and efficiency of enterprise safety production, the 2026 DHOMA Equipment Engineering Maintenance Worker Skills Competition was recently held successfully. All maintenance workers competed and exchanged skills on site. The event aimed to refine professional capabilities through competitions and foster a positive workshop atmosphere of learning, competing and pursuing excellence.

Closely aligned with frontline equipment operation, maintenance and overhaul work, the competition focused on core practical skills and set up three professional events to fully assess the professional competence and standardized operation capabilities of maintenance staff:

Winding Machine Maintenance: This event assesses staff’s mastery of equipment structure, fault diagnosis and rapid troubleshooting, examining their proficiency in daily equipment maintenance and standardized operation to ensure stable operation of production equipment.

Manual Pipe Sawing: This item evaluates operation standardization, force control and detail handling capabilities. With precise dimensions and smooth cuts as core assessment criteria, it aims to polish workers’ refined operation skills.

Precision Drill Grinding: The competition tests workers’ accumulated practical experience and process control capabilities, demonstrating the dedication to excellence and craftsmanship spirit in every meticulous operation.

The competition venue was well-organized with a vibrant competitive atmosphere. All participants were energetic and composed during the operation. They strictly followed operational specifications with proficient and standardized procedures, fully demonstrating the solid practical foundation and rigorous professional demeanor of the equipment maintenance team.

As a comprehensive inspection of the professional capabilities of the equipment maintenance team, the skills competition also provided a valuable platform for employees to communicate and learn from each other.
